The Propeller Club, Port of Geneva Meets the UN in Geneva - 2nd May 2018 from 11:00



The United Nations is a very important part of Geneva and we don’t often get the opportunity to visit and understand the inner workings.

We are looking forward to welcoming our members to this special day.

The program for the day is as follows:

Presentation by Ms. Alessandra Velluci, Director, UN Information Service - 11:00-12:00, Room XXIII

Lunch at the restaurant des Délégués, 8th Floor - 12:00-14:00

The restaurant will serve a three-course meal, while enjoying a beautiful view of the lake Leman and the Mont-Blanc.

Guided Tour of the Palais des Nations - 14:30-15:30

Areas of interest include the Human Rights and Alliance of Civilisations Room, decorated by Miquel Barcelò; The Salle des Pas Perdus, the Armillary Sphere, the monument commemorating the conquest of outer space; the Assembly Hall, the Council Chamber, where many important historical negociations have taken place; and, gift presented by various contries to the United Nations Office in Geneva.
